About Us

Sarah has always had an interest in jewelry.  While in college she took courses in jewelry design and enjoyed making pieces for family and friends.  After marriage and the birth of her first child she decided to leave her 9 to 5 banking job to be a stay at home mom.  During this time Sarah began making jewelry again and started to sell her designs to local boutiques and home parties.

The business grew and in 2001 The Jewel Box opened at its first location in Birkdale Village in Huntersville NC.  As the business continued to grow Sarah’s husband Clark joined her in operating the business.
